As Einstein once said “One should not judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree”. He essentially wanted to bring out the fact that each child is unique in his own way. Every child possesses a unique talent or ability which sometimes remains undiscovered during his day to day function.
Unfortunately our present education system measures success as an ability to score certain grades or percentage in the class. Academic brilliance alone is not the true assessment of an individual’s capability. Attitude, Life skills, Day to day Stress / Time Management, Emotional Quotient are some of the important attributes which shapes a child’s destiny / future. Our present education system fails to acknowledge this well-known fact and continues to focus more on academic brilliance.
